Indrek Rätsep

Dr. Indrek Rätsep is a head of ICU after 25 year career in cardiac anesthesia in North Estonian Medical Centre and a lecturer at Tartu University Medical School, Estonia. He was trained in Broussais Hospital, Paris and did a fellowship later in Cambridge, UK. His ecmo experience started with new century along with challenges typical at that time. Dr.Rätsep has published in isolated heart experiments, neuromonitoring and coagulation. He has run basic, advanced and high-end echocardiography courses for intensivists since 2008 and is member of EBA/UEMS patient safety section.
